finally! photobucket is working.
genting was quite boring lah, considering the rain and the coldness.
but i bought quite a lot of stuff there, nike black & gold tote bag to be used next year(coincidentally, char happened to have bought the same bag in s'pore and its S$20 cheaper!!), pencil case, 2 tops, scrunchies.
genting = 4 hotels joined tgt with shops and theme parks in/beside them. (yes, thats all.)
9th dec
took cab down to the travel agency at Boon Lay Shopping Centre (not Jurong Point. didn't know there was such a place either but it isn't anything like Jurong Point; it's basically a place with a lot of hawker centre and shops) at 8pm, and we reached the place at 8.10 pm. which leaves us 50 mins until the reporting time.
boarded the bus at 9.30pm and off to genting!
bro's passport was going to be due in a few day's time and the person initially didn't allow him to get through but in the end, he still managed to get through after 30 mins of negotiating.
couldn't sleep at all in the bus.
it was dangerous driving at night; with the fog on the screen making it impossible to see what was outside.
but at last, we reached there safe and soundly (and sleepy).
arrived at First World Hotel at 4.30am. (which was the stupidest thing ever)
and the was nothing to do at all! check in time was 1pm, so we left our bags at the bell counter, then toured the place, had breakfast at 6 and sat/slept at the reception until 10am.
my mom calls this the factory hotel.

then we went to the First World Theme Park and sat this(to kill time): Venice Gondola
the ride was S.L.O.W and the only thing to do is to cam whore.
and people actually did the throw-in-the-money-and-make-a-wish shit which i think is stupid.
did a little shopping until 1pm and finally checked in.
was lugging the bags to the lift when somebody "yo, mad".
turned left and saw jessie with her family.
chatted a little then went up.
the room was lousy lah!
no air-con, got table no chair, tv so small, and the worst thing of all: shampoo, conditioner and body soap all in one!
wth is that? how can u put shampoo, conditioner and body soap all in one?! if it really is so miraculous then why are people still manufacturing those in different bottles?
here comes the stupidest thing: i actually went to use it on my hair!
and my hair was so damaged the next day, with the ends in curls.
GAH.

there was this shop named GIRLS with all the different prints on bags, clothes etc and i bought my pencil case there.(wasn't supposed to take pics but i still took =p)
dinner at Kenny Rogers.
the portion is THIS big. couldn't and didn't finish all as the chicken was so bloody i only ate the non-bloody parts.
see the steam? (but their muffins aren't fantastic anw.)

went back to the room, bathed and waited for my (still healthy)hair to dry till 12mn while watching shows on the small tv.
11th dec;2nd day; dim sum and porridge for breakfast.

and then off to cable car rides.

and then back to the cable car.
arrived at some other hotel and had dinner.
mom and her friend decided to go casino to "see"(but they didn't play after all) while me and bro went ourselves.
yet again the fog.
we decided to go to the Outdoor Theme Park. (it was finally not raining)
no editing done to the Ferris Wheel. nice effects right?
i particularly love this: Space Shot.
even took a video. but those ppl on this ride apparently weren't very scared.
see the left and right still got ppl swinging their legs and couldn't even hear their screams(if any, that is.)
i had to take off my slippers in case they flew off.
and it was very very cold up there.
we stayed up there for about 12 secs before droppiing down.
fun, but scary cos your butt isn't on the seat with it drops down.
so the only thing holding you down is the safety belt.
we wasted a lot of time waiting for the rides and by the time we wanted to try the go cart and flying coaster, it was already closed.
so wasted lah. i really wanted to try the flying coaster. ='(
but at least it didn't rain and we got the chance to play.
we went in about 7pm and they closed at 10pm.

bought supper back. there's this GoGo prata wrap that totally rocks.
but the sausage wasn't very cooked cos u can't taste the cheese oozing out.
bathe and i just wetted my hair.
waited for it to dry while watching shows.

did some last min shopping and checked out.

the secenery looks somewhat like mt fuji.
